Georgie Pie Super Smash (named after the competition's sponsor McDonald's iconic New Zealand brand Georgie Pie) is the current domestic Twenty20 cricket competition in New Zealand.,[2] replacing the HRV Cup. The tournament consists of a double round-robin, with the top four teams qualifying for the semi finals. The victorious sides from each semi-final proceed to the grand final, with the winner of the final declared the champion as well as qualifying for the Champions League Twenty20 tournament later in the same year.
