Georgia Bulldogs football under Wally Butts
Wallace “Wally” Butts was the 20th head coach of the University of Georgia Bulldogs college football team and served in that role from 1939 to 1960. He compiled a 140–86–9 record (.615 winning percentage). Butts played his college football at Mercer University under Bernie Moore.
