George Gipe

George Gipe (February 3, 1933 in Boston, Massachusetts September 6, 1986 in Glendale, California) was an American magazine writer, author and screenwriter. Gipe died at the age of 53 as the result of an allergic reaction to a bee sting.[1]

Death

Gipe was allergic to bee stings, and while in Glendale, CA, he was stung by a bee. George was announced dead on arrival on September 6, 1986, a year after Explorers was made.
