George Carl “Cash” Carlson was an American football coach in the United States.

Coaching career

Carlson was the head college football coach for the Bethany Terrible Swedes located in Lindsborg, Kansas.[1] He held that position for 7 seasons, from 1927 until 1933.[2] His coaching record at Bethany was 21 wins, 29 losses and 6 ties. As of the conclusion of the 2012 season, this ranks him #7 at Bethany in total wins and #11 at the school in winning percentage (.429).[3]

He died suddenly in 1953 at his home in Colorado, where he had moved seven years prior. He was survived by his wife, Helen Church, two daughters and two sons.[4]
