George Bell (basketball)

George Bell (born 1957) was the tallest man in the United States at 7 feet 8 inches (234 cm) as recognized by Guinness World Records until Igor Vovkovinskiy was declared the tallest living man in the United States. He is a deputy sheriff in Virginia and previously played college basketball at Morris Brown College, Biola University and with the Harlem Wizards and Harlem Globetrotters show teams.

George was featured on the AMC show Freakshow, as well as season 4 of American Horror Story.
