The George Batchelder House is a historic house at 127–129 Franklin Street in Reading, Massachusetts. The 2.5 story wood frame house was built in 1825, originally facing nearby Main Street on land long held in the Batchelder family; it was moved a short distance in 1947. The house has a few more high-style Federal details in its door surround than are generally found in Reading, including sidelight windows, and flanking tapered pilasters supporting a wide entablature.[2]
The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.[1]
