General Oliver Otis Howard House, also known as Howard Hall, was a home of Union general Oliver Otis Howard. It is now on the campus of Howard University, in Washington, D.C.

It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1974.[2][3]

It is located at 2401 Sixth Street, NW,[4] or 607 Howard Place, NW.[1]

Design and history

The work of an unknown architect, Howard Hall is an early example of the French Renaissance style in America. It was purchased by Howard University in 1909.[5]
