Geghamavan (Armenian: Գեղամավան), also Romanized as Gegamavan; until 1946, Shagriz and Shahriz) is a town in the Gegharkunik Province of Armenia. The town was founded in the 1830s from migrants from the Maku region of Persia. There are church/shrine ruins in the east part of the village.[1]
