Gbongan is a large town in Osun State, Nigeria. It is the headquarters of the Aiyedaade Local Government Area.
The town has an official Post Office.[1] Gbongan was founded by Akinfemwa, whose motto was : "Never is a horse gained in legacy by an idle man." [2]
