Gavin Mitchell (born 16 December 1964) is a Scottish actor and comedian.
He is best known as Bobby the Barman in Scottish sitcom Still Game, Aneliese in the soap opera Hollyoaks and various roles in sketch show Velvet Soup. He previously played the character of Winston in the stage show Still Game. When the play made its transition into television, comedian Paul Riley was cast as Winston instead, with Mitchell taking his current role.
Mitchell also appeared in the drama series Monarch of the Glen as PC Callum McIntyre, and in the BBC Scotland Series Empty. In 2009, Mitchell starred in the comedy Happy Hollidays. In 2011, he played a major part in the festival set You Instead and The Field of Blood.
