Gastão Jose Ministro Elias[1] (born November 24, 1990, in Caldas da Rainha) is a Portuguese men's professional tennis player that competes in the ATP World Tour. In May 2013, he achieved a career-high singles of world no. 103 after winning his two first Challenger tournaments, followed by his first ever ATP quarterfinal appearance at the 2013 Portugal Open, in which he lost in straight sets to 2nd seed Stanislas Wawrinka. He has won four futures singles titles. He's had the chance to be Roger Federer's practice partner.[2]
