Gary Lawyer (born 1959) is an Indian singer-songwriter of Gujurati-Parsi origin, known for his works predominantly in Bollywood. He started his career as a nightclub singer in New York City, New York.[1]

Career

He is the first Indian to be signed for a western album outside India.[2] Lawyer has a bass baritone, who sings in the tenor range [3] which garnered him recognition and a stint with Bollywood.[4][5] He then ventured into Bollywood and Indipop[6] [7]
