Gary Hyde (January–March 1960 (age 5455)[1]) birth registered in Pontefract district, is a professional rugby league footballer of the 1970s, '80s and '90s, playing at club level for Castleford, and Oldham, as a Centre.[2][3]

Playing career

Challenge Cup final appearances

Gary Hyde played Centre, i.e. number 4, in Castleford's 15-14 victory over Hull Kingston Rovers in the 1986 Challenge Cup final during the 1985–86 season at Wembley Stadium on Saturday 3 May 1986.[4]

County Cup final appearances

Gary Hyde played Centre, i.e. number 3, and scored a conversion in Oldham's 16-24 defeat by Warrington in the 1989 Lancashire Cup final during the 1989–90 season at Knowsley Road, St. Helens on Saturday 14 October 1989.

Club career

Hyde made his début for Castleford in the 22-10 victory over Huddersfield on Sunday 19 November 1978.[3]
