Gary Blackwood, born on October 23, 1945 in Meadville, Pennsylvania,[1] is an American author who has written many popular fiction and nonfiction books for young readers including The Shakespeare Stealer, Shakespeare's Scribe, and Shakespeare's Spy.[2] He sold his first story when he was nineteen.[3]
