Garautha is a town and a Nagar Panchayat in Jhansi district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. It is a belief that Rishi Vishwamitra stayed here.
Geography
Garautha is located at 25°34′N 79°18′E / 25.57°N 79.3°E.[1] It has an average elevation of 153 metres (501 feet).
