Garçon Model

Garçon Model is a Canadian underwear^[1] brand for men, based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.^[2] Launched in 2012, the brand is known for producing underwear for men with an emphasis on vibrant colour combinations^[1] and using microfiber,^[3] which is a fabric that wicks moisture and sweat away from the body.

The company raised money for street kids in Recife,^[4][5] the host city of the 2014 World Cup, with Brazilian NGO Ruas e Praças. Garçon Model's underwear has been featured in GQ,^[6] Esquire,^[7] Men's Health,^[8][9] Details,^[10] Men's Fitness, Harper's Bazaar.

History

Garçon Model launched their first collection in 2012 with boxer briefs, trunks, and briefs.^[2] Their second collection entitled Miami Collection was the result of a Kickstarter campaign,^[11] with the brand raising over $26,000 CAD.^[3]

Collaborations

Garçon Model has collaborated with both well-known and up-and-coming photographers and models in photo-shoots and campaigns for their products. Photographer Daniel Jaems did the campaign for the brand's Miami Collection with model Tyler Kenyon.^[12][13] They have also worked with Marco Ovando,^[14] and America's Next Top Model's Mike Ruiz.^[15] Most recently, Garçon Model teamed up with Montreal photographer Monsiieur and Vin Los ^[16] for featuring Vin in boxers from the Miami Collection.
