Gandhi Krishna
Gandhi Krishna is a Tamil film director.[1] He has worked as an assistant to Shankar before he made his first film.
Career
In 2001, he began a film titled Pookutti which had been scripted by writer Sujatha. The venture was financed by Media Dreams who had made Bharathi (2000) and were producing the films Little John and Shankar's Robot during the period, and featured newcomers in the lead role.[2] The title was later changed to Nila Kaalam (2001) and the film opened to positive reviews, with a critic noting "full marks to director A. R. Gandhikrishna for tackling such a theme confidently" and that "it is most definitely one of the best Tamil films to hit the screen in recent times."[3]
