Gambat is a town of Khairpur District in the Sindh province of Pakistan. It is located at 27°21'5N 68°31'12E with an altitude of 47 metres (157 feet).[1] The town is administratively subdivided into two Union councils.[2] This is second largest city of Khairpur District.

Gambat is Taluka Headquarters and Health care provider city of District. Murad High School is one of famous educational institute which was established in the Talpur /Mirs reign of Sindh and has been named HH Mir Murad Ali Khan Talpur. There are two Degree Colleges for girls and boys. Gambat Taluka Hospital is famous for having dialysis facility. Along with a lot private medical centers, the main hospitals are LRBT eye hospital, TB hospital. Latif Cultural and Social Welfare Organization Gambat, Municipality park or Phool Baag (literally Garden of roses) is place to visit in evening, specially in summer. Municipality library also serves number of books and daily newspapers. Library is located in park. Gambat has been of more important as it expands and its urbanization till the National Highway. A number of hotels and restaurant also serves the locals for hoteling. The famous ones are Royal Inn, Taj Mahal and Noorani restaurant. There are number of Marriage lawns on National Highway Bypass. Gambat is linked with Larkana with a newly built bridge over Indus River. Gambat is linked with across Pakistan with Railway and National High Way.
