Galloping Wonder Stag
Galloping Wonder Stag (native name Vágtázó Csodaszarvas, 2005-) is Hungarian music group, associated with world music, shamanic music and shaman-punk labels, continuing Galloping Coroners psychedelic music replacing electronic guitars and drums with acoustic folk instruments.[1]
History
Galloping Wonder Stag has been founded by Attila Grandpierre,[2] leader of Galloping Coroners (1975–2001).
Music Style
Galloping Wonder Stag can be described as a neotraditional shaman-punk using ethnographic materials as manuals on how to reach and communicate ecstatic states. Galloping Wonder Stag plays ancient psychedelic shaman music coming from the oldest roots of Hungarian volk music at Eurasian nomad horse people's tradition.[3]
