The village of Gajulamandyam(Telugu: గాజులమండ్యం ) is the one of the biggest historical villages in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh on the banks of river Swarnamukhi(సువర్ణముఖి) . It is just 15km away from holy place Tirupathi town and 5km from Renigunta Railway jn.
Overview
It is a Place where goddess Gangamma born whose Jatara(Fest) has been celebrating in south India grand manner. This is a place where the great sage Mandavya done his Thapasu. The population of the village is above 4000. Most of the people are literated. This is major Grampanchayat in Chittoor district covered with K.L.M.Hospital, Jeevagram,Neelisani peta, IDA Gajulamandyam. Some of surrounding Villages are Attur, Allikesam,Boduthum, Thandlam,Tukivakam, Elamandyam,Pillapalem, Thataih Kalva, Nallapalem,Kallur. It is the centre of politics in our surrounding villages and in our constitution

Economy
The village mainly depends on agriculture. The main crops are rice, sugar cane and ground nuts. and grampanchyat have income in the form of tax from industries around the village.
Culture
The people of Gajulamandyam speak mostly Telugu though Tamil,English are understood. The residents and migrated people from various states can be seen in both traditional attire like Dhoti, Lungi and Saree and modern attire. Practices of Tonsure and using Tilak are commonly seen. Songs and prayers of Lord Venkateswara like Annamacharya kirtanas, Lord Sri Rama, Lord Shiva, Lord Subramanyeswara Swami, Saibaba bajan kirtanas can be heard all over the Village.
Temples and Festivals
This village is famous about his temples like Shivalayam ( which is constructed by Chola Rajas along with Kalahasti, Gudimallam, Mukkoti, Jogula Mallaram temples), Perumala Swamy Temple (as per villagers that temple had damaged before 500 years ago, history of this temple not available), some other temples are Sri Ramaalayam,Sai baba Temple, Subramanyeswara Swami Temple, Ankalamma temple , Gurrappa swamy Temple Yellamma Temple,poleramma Temple. In this village Ganesh chaturthi, krishnastami, Deepavali, Sankranti, Sri Ramanavami, Ugadi, Kruthika, Guru Purnima, Shiva rathri, Yellamma jatara, Ganaga Jatara, celebrates with processions in grand manner.
Climate
In summer temperatures may go up to 36 to 45 degrees Celsius, and in winter the minimum temperatures will be between 18 and 28 degrees Celsius. Usually summer lasts from March to October. With the advent of rainy season in November, followed by winter which lasts till the end of February.
Transport
Gajulamandyam is well connected with all major towns Tirupati (15km), Puttur (17 km) Kalahasti (35 km) Tiruchanur(Alamelu Manga puram) (8 km) and Renigunta (5 km) in Chittoor district. The distance to Tirumala is about 37 km. The frequency of busses to Tirupati is every 5-10 minutes throughout the day. The bus journey to Tirumala is approximately 1Hr.

Sri Sai Ganesh Vidyalayam was established in 1994 in Gajulamandyam village, it starts with 50 students but it now devolped.
