Gaisano is a shopping mall chain in the Philippines, owned by the Cebu-based Gaisano family. The Metro Gaisano chain of shopping malls was started by Victor Gaisano in 1982. Other offshoot shopping mall chains include Gaisano Capital and Gaisano Grand, each headed by a different member of the Gaisano family. Gaisano malls can be found in various cities in Cebu, as well as in Iligan City Cagayan de Oro City, Lucena, Butuan, Dipolog City, Zamboanga City, Iloilo, Roxas City, Davao City, General Santos, Tacloban, Ormoc, Digos City, Tagum City, Malaybalay City, Naga City, Valencia City, San Francisco, Agusan del Sur and Soon Bislig City and Ozamiz City . The Gaisano family also own an investment firm, Vicsal Investment, Inc. The group have also expanded into other industries, such as stock brokering and banking.[1] And in partnership of Ayala Malls,they continue to build several supermarkets.
