Gaelcholáiste

A gaelcholáiste is a secondary level school in Ireland, both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, outside Gaeltacht areas, where Irish is the primary language of teaching and communication.

Gaelcoláistí are represented & supported by the Gaelscoileanna Teo organisation, based in Dublin.

Future Gaelcoláiste

As a result of the announcement from the Department of Education & Skills of 25 July 2012,[1] three new Gaelcoláistí will open in September 2014: -
