Gabino Sáenz (born June 7, 1989 in Indio, California) is a Christian[1] undefeated Mexican American professional boxer in the Featherweight division.[2]

Professional career

He's trained by his father Gabino Sáenz, Sr. and Timothy Bradley, Sr.[3]

It was announced at a press conference held in Indio, California on June 22, 2010 that Gabino Sáenz had signed with TKO Boxing Promotions.[4]

Sáenz made his highly anticipated professional debut on July 4, 2010 against Colorado's Brandon Sanchez, under the ESPN2's Friday Night Fights card held in Ontario, California at the Citizens Business Bank Arena.[5] Sáenz wasted no time, pounding Sanchez to the body and head with a left hook combination earning the KO stoppage at the 0:34 second mark of the first round. Randy Caballero also fought that night on the same card against Denver's Jairo Delgado and also scored a first round KO.[6]

On December 4, 2010 Sáenz defeated the veteran Jesse Adame, on the undercard of Donaire-Sidorenko.[7][8]
