This model of the small family car differed from the German model as it had a 1.8 engine designed entirely in Argentina. It was replaced by the Chevrolet Kadett in 1995. It is believed to be the only "pure" passenger car (as opposed to SUV or crossover) marketed under the GMC brand name.
