Futian Station (Chinese: 福田站) is a station under construction of Guangshen'gang XRL. It is located between Fuzhong 3 Road and Shen Nan Rd, in Futian District, Shenzhen, Guangdong, People Republic of China. Once completed it will become the largest high-speed railway station built completely underground. This allows for a location in the geographical heart of Futian District, Shenzhen. It will offer connections to Kowloon in Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Changsha, Wuhan, Zhengzhou and Beijing.
This station will serve as the terminus of many high-speed intercity services from across Mainland China. Through high-speed trains will continue to Hong Kong, with a high-speed commuter service linking the Futian CBD with Kowloon.
Structure
As Asia's largest underground railway station, it is 1023 m long and 78.86 m wide, constructed by open-cut method to a depth of 32 m. It consists of three subterranean levels. The first level is a transfer concourse allowing for access to both the Metro services and high-speed long-distance trains. Business and VIP lounges will be available, plus customs and immigration facilities for cross border services to Hong Kong.
The second level contains the Futian Metro Station, which allows for access to the commuter Line 3 (Longgang Line), Line 2 (Shekou Line) and the future Line 11 (Airport Line).
The lowest level is where the high-speed train platforms will be located. Cross-Border Shuttle services to Hong Kong's West Kowloon Railway Station will separated from long-distance services to such destinations as Beijing and Shanghai[1]

Services
Cross-border services to Hong Kong will have a travel time of only 15 minutes, quicker than the 45-minute journey via the Hong Kong MTR. High-speed rail services by 'G' numbered Intercity trains will travel to Beijing and Xi'an in a time of about 9 hours.
All other Shenzhen's trains are served elsewhere. Less expensive D-series trains to Guangzhou, as well as various "conventional" trains to destinations throughout China leave from Shenzhen Railway Station; there is also a much less busy Shenzhen West Railway Station. Shenzhen East Railway Station opened in December 2012 to handle regional services and connected to Shenzhen North on the soon to be completed Hangzhou–Fuzhou–Shenzhen High-Speed Railway.
