Fujimi (富士見市 Fujimi-shi) is a city located in Saitama Prefecture, Japan. The city was founded on April 10, 1972.

As of March 31, 2011, the city has an estimated population of 107,459, with 46,369 households and a population density of approximately 5,454.77 persons per km². The total area is 19.70 km².

Politics and government

Fujimi is governed by Shingo Hoshino, an independent. The city legislative assembly has 25 seats and is dominated by independents.

The city is served by Fujimino, Tsuruse, and Mizuhodai stations on the Tōbu Tōjō Line from Ikebukuro in Tokyo.

International relations

Fujimi is twinned with Šabac in Serbia.[1]
