Fueled is a mobile design and development company based in New York, with offices in Los Angeles, Chicago, and London. They provide iOS and Android application development, web design, and strategy.[2] The company has its roots in the New York tech start-up scene known as Silicon Alley.

Fueled also offers a co-working office space as Fueled Collective it has 18,000 square foot co-working office space in New York City's posh SoHo neighborhood.[3]

History

Founded by Rameet Chawla in 2009 following the release of Apple’s App Store, Fueled began at General Assembly, at the time a startup hub and incubator in Manhattan’s Flatiron district.[4][5] The team soon grew from a handful of staff to about 45 designers, producers, and developers, split between the company’s three main offices.

In their first few years, Fueled worked with other tech startups and with large firms on mobile and web development and strategy. They created apps for Porsche, Ducati, Procter & Gamble, Malibu Rum, and Hallmark, and websites for Gilt City, Stuart Weitzman, and Frostwire, among others. Their online Charity Swear Box enabled expletive-heavy Twitter users to donate a suggested amount to donate to nonprofit organizations like the WWF and PETA.[6][7]

The company moved to 568 Broadway in April 2012 after expanding its staff.[8] The building, a former sewing factory, now primarily houses tech startups like Foursquare and Thrillist.

Awards

Fueled has won awards for its mobile and web creations from W3, Recovendor Top mobile app development companies, FWD, the Omma Awards, the Digiday Mobi Awards, Creative Review, the Hive Awards, Communication Arts, and the Webby Awards.
