Frederick Howard (industrialist)

Sir Frederick Howard Kt JP DL (1828–1915) was a British industrialist who, with his brother James Howard, founded J & F Howard Ironfounders in Bedford.[1]

Howard was the son of John Howard and educated at Bedford Modern School and Bedford School (1839–41).[2] He was the uncle of Sir George Farrar,[3] was knighted in 1895, and died in Bedford in 1915.[4]
