Fred Miller (January 26, 1906 – December 17, 1954) was an All-American college football tackle. He was elected to the College Football Hall of Fame in 1985. Miller, the heir to the Miller Brewing Company, was killed in a plane crash with his son on December 17, 1954. Miller was a big part to the move of the Braves to Milwaukee. He coaxed Lou Perini into moving them to Milwaukee at the beginning of the 1953 season from Boston and into County Stadium where they won the world series in 1957, and the pennant in 1958, losing the World Series to the New York Yankees.
