Fred Allegrezza is an American entrepreneur and currently serves as CEO of Venture 3 Systems LLC, which develops and distributes the Telikin computer.[1]

Education

Allegrezza graduated from Drexel University in 1981 with a BSEE Degree.[2]

Early career

After graduation from Drexel, Fred worked at Moore Products. Later, Fred served as the engineering program manager and systems engineering manager with General Instruments.[3]

Video on Demand

In 1997, Fred founded his first company, Vivid Technology.[4] In Fall of 1999, Vivid was acquired by Concurrent Computer Corporation in a deal worth more than $20 million.[5] Concurrent delivered Video on Demand (VOD) systems to Comcast, Time Warner, Cox, among other cable companies.

Later career

In 2002, Fred was a primary investor on the Board of Advisors for Everstream, which was later acquired by Concurrent. Later in 2004, Allegrezza along with Cliff Lewis co-founded Vertasent, developing Video on Demand Management and Switched Digital Video Technology for the cable TV industry. Vertasent was acquired by Motorola in fall of 2006 and Fred stayed on through 2007.[6] Before his most recent venture, Fred was the primary investor and CEO of AnySource Media, a connected TV software company that was acquired by DivX in September 2009.[7]
Most recently Fred, along with business partners Cliff Lewis and Tim Court founded Venture 3 Systems to develop an easy to use, touchscreen computer for seniors called Telikin. Fred currently serves as CEO for the Hatfield, PA based company.
