Frans Johansson

Frans Johansson is the author of The Medici Effect,[1] published by Harvard Business School Press in 2004. The Medici Effect argues that the most groundbreaking ideas are found at the intersections of diverse fields, industries, disciplines, and cultures.

Background

Frans Johansson was raised in Sweden. He earned his bachelor's in Environmental Science at Brown University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. While at Brown, Johansson started The Catalyst, an interdisciplinary science magazine "that aims to bridge the gap between the sciences and the humanities through art and literature".[2]
