Francis de Miomandre

Francis de Miomandre (born 22 May 1880–1959) was a French novelist and well-known translator from Spanish into French.

Biography

He was born in Tours, Indre-et-Loire and educated in Marseille. He began writing in his early twenties and won the Prix Goncourt in 1908 for his novel, Écrit sur de l'eau.... His novels are highly imaginative and put together with the genuine talent of a romancer who has traveled far and wide at his own study table.
