Francesca Maria Rubatto (Carmagnola, 14 February 1844 – Montevideo, 6 August 1905) was an Italian Roman Catholic nun.[1]
She was the founder of the Capuchin Sisters of Mother Rubatto. Most of her work was done in Uruguay, where she died.
Pope John Paul II beatified her on 10 October 1993. She is considered the first Uruguayan blessed person.[2]
