François Dalle

François Dalle (died August 9, 2005) served as CEO of L'Oréal between 1957 and 1984.

He became the company's CEO after the death of its founder, Eugène Schueller, in 1957. He oversaw one of the most exciting periods of the company's history in expanding and internationalising the range of brands and managing aggressive international expansion.

He also served as a board member of food company Nestle and TV companies TF1 and Canal+.

A keen supporter of management education, he served on the board of INSEAD, was president of CELSA, and a co-founder of CEDEP (the European Centre for Executive Development).[1]
