Four Thieves Gone: The Robbinsville Sessions is a 2006 album by The Avett Brothers. Recorded in a rented house in Robbinsville, NC over the course of 10 days in early 2005, Four Thieves Gone saw the introduction of electric guitar and heavier drums to the band's ever-evolving sound. The album features fellow Ramseur Records artist Paleface.[3]
The album balances slow-swinging ballads with toe-tapping rock 'n roll.
