Fort Harmony, Utah
Fort Harmony, Utah was an early settlement in Washington County, Utah. It was founded in 1852. Among the settlers there was John D. Lee. It was also the original headquarters of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints's Southern Indian Mission. However since Lee constantly tried to usurp the authority of the leaders of the Southern Indian Mission they relocated to Pinto in about 1856.
