There have been only 2 Formula 1 race drivers from India. In 2012, there was 1 driver from India, and it is not certain if there will be in 2013.
Narain Karthikeyan the first Indian Formula 1 driver.
Karun Chandhok the second Indian Formula 1 driver.
Akbar Ebrahim was the first Indian to race in the Formula. He raced in Formula 3. His son, Armaan Ebrahim, also races in Formula 2.
