Formartine United Football Club are a Scottish senior association football club from Pitmedden, Aberdeenshire currently playing in the Highland Football League. They joined the Highland League for the 2009–10 season, having been accepted into the League on 25 February 2009.[1] They are currently managed by former Aberdeen and Inverness Caledonian Thistle manager Steve Paterson.
History
Formartine United were founded in 1946.[2] The club were admitted to a newly expanded Highland League in 2009.[1]
Colours and badge
Formartine United play in red and white vertical striped shirts, white shorts and red socks. The change colours are black shirts and shorts, with black socks.[2]
Stadium
Formartine United plays its home games at North Lodge Park, Pitmedden.[2]
