"Flower In The Sun" is a song by Janis Joplin that for the first time, appeared on the singer's posthumous In Concert album from 1972, which was released after her death, in 1970. This song, originally, was recorded by Janis Joplin and her third band to sing with, the Full Tilt Boogie Band. She recorded it in 1970, when she began her work with the new band. After Joplin's death, "Flower In The Sun" was included in re-releases of her albums. One of those albums was the Cheap Thrills album.
