Flaw independent releases

Before signing onto a label, the Alternative Metal band Flaw had three independent releases, including two albums and an EP.

American Arrogance

American Arrogance is Flaw's first album, available only on cassette tape. It was released in 1997. The song "Anorexia" was revised and later renamed to "My Letter," appearing on their major label debut album Through the Eyes along with Reliance and Amendment.

Flaw

Flaw is Flaw's second independent album, often referred to as the "paper CD." It was released in 1998. The songs Amendment, Disgusted, and Independence were re-recorded from American Arrogance. "Scheme" was also re-recorded for Through the Eyes. The sound quality on this album is noticeably better than that of American Arrogance. The back cover of the CD stylizes the tracks with the first letter of the track name lowercase and the rest of the name uppercase (save for "Untitled" which appears blank), for example, "Amendment" would appear as "aMENDMENT". The song "Fall Into This" is set to appear in a revised form on Flaw's upcoming 2014 album.

Drama

Drama is the only independent EP recorded by the band. It was released in 2000. The songs that appear on this EP were re-recorded for Through the Eyes.
