Flag of Kiev is a rectangular piece of fabric of the azure colour. There is the coat of arms of Kiev placed in the centre of the flag, which represents the Archangel Michael in white robes, holding flaming sword in his right hand and shield in his left hand.
The flag and coat of arms were adopted by resolution of the City Council of Kiev in 1995.
