Fish, Fish, Squish!

Fish, Fish Squish! is a board game for up to four players, whose object is to be the player with the last fish standing. The game's name comes from the action of squishing an opponent's fish when 3 different colored fish cards are turned face-up.

Sequence of play

The game starts with each player taking a fish mold, making 5 dough fish, and standing them on their player mats. Then players shuffle the fish cards and lay out a face-down 6x6 grid. The youngest player goes first and turns over a card. One by one, each player turns over a card. If a player uncovers 3 different colored fish in a row, they are awarded one squish of any opponent's fish. Game play continues in this fashion until there is only one player with fish still standing. If all cards are turned face-up and there is more than one player with unsquished fish, then another row of 6 cards is added.
