The First Presbyterian Church in Little Rock, Arkansas was designed by architect John Parks Almand and was built in 1921. It has been termed "an academically accurate, local interpretation of the Gothic Revival style."[2]:4, 10
John Parks Almand had worked in the firm of Charles L. Thompson; there may be additional association of the Thompson firm with this church.[3] The building has also been termed as having English Gothic, Late 19th and 20th Century Revivals and other architecture. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.[1]
