Filsponen Nunatak
Filsponen Nunatak (72°12′S 14°25′E / 72.200°S 14.417°ECoordinates: 72°12′S 14°25′E / 72.200°S 14.417°E) is a nunatak rising northeast of Steinfila Nunatak in the southern part of the Payer Mountains in Queen Maud Land, Antarctica. It was mapped by Norwegian cartographers from surveys and air photos by the Sixth Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–60) and named Filsponen (the filings).[1]
