Filipe José Machado (born 13 March 1984) is a Brazilian footballer who plays for Macaé as a defender.
Biography
Brazil
He played the first half of the 2005 season for Esportivo.[1] at Campeonato Gaúcho and 2005 Copa do Brasil.
Europe
On 8 August 2006, he left for Spanish club Pontevedra CF at Segunda División B.[2]
In summer 2007, he was first signed by U.D. Leiria, but due to problem with coach, he left for CSKA Sofia. He scored the goal for the 1:0 win in the match between CSKA Sofia and Levski Sofia in the fall of 2007.[3] He stayed there until August 2009.
As a free agent, and following a trial period, Filipe Machado signed a 1+2-year contract with Serie B side Salernitana in August 2009.[4]
He was released in January 2010 after Machado trailed at Albacete Balompié[5] and not received any wage from Salernitana.[6] But the deal with the Spanish club has failed.
In 2010–11 season he left for Inter Baku.
As of February 2011 he moved to the United Arab Emirates for Al Dhafra Sports & Culture Club.
