Filipe Manuel Cordeiro Duarte (born 30 March 1985), simply known as Filipe Duarte is a Portuguese professional footballer playing for Benfica Macau in Liga de Elite as a defender.
Club career
Born in Lisbon, Duarte played for the youth academy of Benfica from 1999 to 2004, though he could not break into the first team and instead signed for Cypriot First Division club Apollon Limassol in 2005. After a short stint with Operário in 2008, he headed towards Oriental where he played four seasons. Then, in 2012, he joined Macanese side Benfica Macau.[1]
