(Samuel) Ferran Glenfield, B.A., M.A., M.Th. (Oxon:), M.Litt. (born 1954), is the current Bishop of Kilmore, Elphin and Ardagh.[1]

He is married to Jean, a teacher at Wesley College Dublin. The couple have 3 children; Mick who works as a teacher in Bristol, Richard who is studying at The Irish Baptist College and Esther who is an undergraduate at Queens College in Cambridge.

He was educated at Queen's University Belfast and Trinity College, Dublin and ordained in 1992. His first post was a curacy at Douglas, County Cork.[2] He then served incumbencies in Rathcooney, Kill O'The Grange (County Dublin) and Hillsborough[3] before elevation to the Episcopate.[4]
