Ferdinand Damanik (born 15 April 1988) is an Indonesian professional basketball player. As of April 2014, Damanik plays center for Dell Aspac Jakarta.

College

After a standout high school career at La Salle Green Hills, Ferdinand joined the De La Salle Green Archers. Under the direction of Coach Franz Pumaren in his first year in the UAAP Basketball Championship he won the 2007-2008 season.

First Season NBL

In his first season in the NBL Indonesia 2012-2013 season, Damanik played for Pelita Jaya Esia. In that season he managed to make his team the runner-up in the NBL Indonesia 2012-2013 Season. In 2013 Ferdinand entered the NBL Indonesia slam dunk contest. But still not a champion. In this season Damanik decided to exchange with the players in the Dell Aspac Jakarta Anggi Arizki. Because there is an internal problem between the coach Nathaniel Canson.

International

Ferdinand started his debut with the national team basketball Indonesia in 2013. Ferdinand Include participate in the 2013 Islamic Solidarity Games and managed to get a bronze medal. Ferdinand was also included in the event SEA Games in 2013 in Myanmar, but still not getting results.
