Femm-Isation is the debut studio album by Japanese electronic pop duo FEMM. The album was released on October 1, 2014. A instrumental version of the album called "Femm-Isation (Instrumental)" was released in December 2014. [1]
Release and promotion
FEMM promoted the album with music videos for all the songs through 2014 in their youtube page: Starting with "Astroboy feat. Honey-B & W-Trouble" music video in February 26. "Wannabe" music video April 10. "Kiss The Rain" music video in April 19. "White Noise" music video in April 26. "We Flood The Night" music video in May 14. "Kill The DJ" in May 15. A dance video of "Wannabe" in June 19. "Fxxk Boyz Get Money" music video in June 26. "Girls Night Out" music video in July 24. "Party All Night" music video in July 29. "Dead Wrong" music video in August 12. "The Real Thing" music video in August 29. "Unbreakable" music video in September 05. And, lastly, the youtube version of the music video of "Whiplash" in September 25.
The group released eight singles and four remixes singles. "Wannabe","Kiss the Rain", "White Noise", "We Flood the Night", "Kill the DJ", "Fxxk Boyz Get Money", "Dead Wrong" (at the same day was released "Party All Night (sfpr remix)" and "Kill The DJ (Invaderous Remix)") and "Unbreakable" (at the same day was released "Whiplash (Invaderous Remix)" and "Whiplash (sfpr remix)").
FEMM was interviewed by international magazines and performed in clubs to promote their music. The album reached #10 on the Billboard World Albums chart.[2]
