The Federal Correctional Institution (FCI), Beaumont Low is a low-security United States federal prison for male inmates in Texas. It is part of the Beaumont Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) and is operated by the Federal Bureau of Prisons, a division of the United States Department of Justice.

FCC Beaumont is located approximately 35 miles from the Gulf of Mexico; 100 miles east of Houston; and 268 miles west of New Orleans, Louisiana.[1]

Larry Bankston 25398-034 Released from custody in 2000; served 41 months. Member of the Louisiana State Senate from 1988 to 1996; convicted in 1997 of racketeering for accepting bribes in exchange for using his position to benefit video poker companies.[2][3][4]
Jerry Fowler 03547-095 Released from custody in 2005; served 4 years. Louisiana Elections Commissioner from 1980 to 2000; pleaded guilty in 2000 to defrauding the state of $900,000 between 1991 and 1999.[5][6][7]
Marc Rosenthal 96847-279 Serving a 20-year sentence; scheduled for release in 2030. Texas attorney; convicted in 2013 of bribery, conspiracy and honest services fraud for providing money and favors to a state judge, Abel Limas, and witnesses in exchange for favorable rulings and false testimony. Limas was sentenced to 6 years.[8][9]
